Return and Cancellation Policy
How quelthorssvord handles cancellations, changes, and returns for interior styling services and sourced items.
Scope
This policy applies to services and products provided by Quelthorssvord within the United Kingdom. It is designed to be fair, transparent, and compliant with UK consumer protections.
Consultations and Design Services
- Booking changes: You may reschedule a consultation once with at least 48 hours' notice at no additional cost.
- Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before a scheduled consultation will be refunded in full if a fee was paid. Cancellations within 48 hours may incur a reasonable charge to cover reserved time.
- Work already completed: Fees for design work already delivered (such as mood boards, layouts, or sourcing lists) are non-refundable once provided.
Procurement and Sourced Items
- Made-to-order or customised items: These are non-returnable unless faulty, as they are produced to your specifications.
- Standard items: Where possible, unused and undamaged items may be returned within 14 days of delivery subject to supplier return terms and restocking fees. We will advise on eligibility before proceeding.
- Inspection on delivery: Please inspect items on arrival. Report any damage within 48 hours so we can arrange repair or replacement with the supplier.
Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
If a sourced item is faulty or not as described, we will liaise with the supplier to arrange repair, replacement, or refund in line with UK consumer rights. We may request photos or access to inspect the item.
Process for Requests
To request a cancellation, return, or change, contact us with your project reference, the item details (if applicable), and the reason for the request. We will confirm next steps and any applicable timelines or fees.
Refund Timing
Where a refund is due, it will be processed once any returned item is received and inspected, or once a cancellation is confirmed. Processing times may vary depending on payment providers.
